Thankfully, my US trip for the launch of ‘The People’s Queen” was moved. Last year, I accompanied Rachel Peters and Mariel de Leon for this awards night. This year, I was able to attend and support Catriona Gray, Miss Universe Philippines 2018.
I love this event because I see alot of familiar faces and catch up with some friends.
I met up with Catriona and her gurus, Ton Lao and Harley Tan at the Grand Hyatt Lobby. We did prom photo ops before proceeding to the ballroom.

Liza was the first person who ever asked me to cover Miss Universe for Manila Bulletin. She was largely responsible for getting ne started on this amazing pageant journey.Even when just sitting in the audience, Catriona is a beauty to behold.
